I’m Ardian, a software engineering student at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH). I finish my bachelor’s degree in 2027. Most of my project time goes into Rihal, a platform for study circles. Lessons, live classroom sessions and student progress live in one web application, and it runs in production for real circles. Transcribe came out of a different problem. I wanted recordings turned into text I could edit and export, so I built the media pipeline and the background worker behind it. When I optimise something, I want to know where the time actually goes. Running a live service added the other half of that question, which is what it costs to keep it online. Away from the computer I go camping and fishing, and I train Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

My part was the data and the models: I collected and labelled the training data and trained the models in Python. We worked in Scrum with sprint planning, planning poker, weekly stand-ups with the customer, sprint reviews and retrospectives, and delivered all the promised functionality.
